Inspired by our annual Holiday Spirit of Giving event each November and December, Holidays in July was designed to bring a mid-year boost of joy to our local partners. Across our portfolio, AVE teams collected donations throughout the month to support organizations that are making a difference with the goal of brightening someone’s day and showing that small acts of kindness can make a big impact.
Support Across the Nation
Each AVE community partnered with a local organization to create meaningful, targeted donation drives. At The Franklin Residences in Philadelphia, our team partnered with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to support their gardening therapy initiative. Residents and team members alike contributed watering cans, garden gloves for kids and adults, knee pads, garden fences and lights, books about gardening, and complete children's gardening kits – supplies that will help young patients engage with nature and enjoy therapeutic outdoor activities.
In Texas, AVE Dallas Las Colinas partnered with the Texas Center for Proton Therapy, providing comfort and support to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Thoughtfully chosen donations helped create a soothing environment and showed these brave individuals and their families that they are supported.
Our AVE Hamilton Green team collaborated with Blythedale Children's Hospital in New York, donating a total of 250 items that were focused on bringing moments of happiness and ease to young patients during their healing journeys.
