AVE is PAWsome Nationwide
Every May, all AVE locations nationwide spend the month collecting donations in honor of their four-legged residents. These donations include items such as toys, food, beds, blankets and more, and are personally dropped off by our teams to a shelter of their choice. These shelters are valued partners of AVE, whether they have been longstanding partnerships since the first AVE is PAWsome back in 2021, or this is the first year joining the celebration of National Pet Month.
AVE Clifton partnered with Brick City Rescue, a New Jersey animal shelter dedicated to finding loving, stable homes for all adoptable homeless dogs with a main focus on Bully Breeds. Our AVE Clifton residents and team members collected and donated 10 full donation boxes to Brick City Rescue, making their adorable puppies PAWsitively excited.
AVE Malvern, one of our Greater Philadelphia communities, had 8 pet move-ins during the month of May and raised a total of $400 for Brandywine Valley SPCA.
Across the coast, AVE Phoenix Terra and AVE Phoenix Sky partnered with Arizona Humane Society. The Downtown AVE Phoenix communities brought 8 donation boxes to the humane society and got a warm welcome from the volunteers and their pooches.
“We are so thankful for the Arizona Humane Society's partnership with AVE Terra and their AVE is PAWsome campaign over the past few years. AVE partners with local animal shelters to raise awareness, collect donations from residents and partners, host adoption events and give back in meaningful ways,” explains Ellie Haluska from Arizona Humane Society. “We have hosted two adoption events with AVE, where we found homes for three of our pups! Thanks to AVE Terra, we are able to expand our mission to save the most vulnerable animals and enrich the lives of pets and people.”
