This holiday season, AVE proudly celebrated its 5th Annual Holiday Spirit of Giving, bringing residents, local partners, and team members together across all markets for donation drives and festive gatherings rooted in generosity and connection.

Through November, AVE communities collectively donated 1,457 toys to their local charity partners and 803 bags of food, helping to provide over 5,000 meals through Move For Hunger. These contributions supported families and children in need during the holiday season, reinforcing AVE’s commitment to creating positive change both inside and outside its communities.

Our Greater Philadelphia communities teamed up with St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in addition to Move For Hunger. Through the combined effort of AVE Malvern, AVE King of Prussia, AVE Blue Bell, Blue Bell Villas, and The Franklin Residences, AVE donated a total of 484 toys.
At AVE King of Prussia, residents, team members, and partners gathered for a lively evening featuring food, drinks, entertainment, and a silent auction, all in support of Move For Hunger and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
“5 years ago, I met one of the coordinators from St. Christophers Hospital for Children and heard the stories about the children and the families and their needs. We decided right then that St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children was going to be our partner in Philadelphia. We will be heading to St. Christopher’s with a U-Haul filled with toys from the generosity of all our residents.”
The AVE team then filled up a U-Haul and hand-delivered the toys to the hospital staff, one of the team’s favorite traditions. The hospital’s devoted staff delivered these toys to the children on Christmas morning, in an effort to bring holiday cheer to the hospital.
Our New Jersey team, including AVE Florham Park, AVE Clifton, AVE Somerset, and AVE Union, partnered with CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties, who advocates for children in foster care and ensures their safety and well-being. The 415 toy donations that were collected throughout November were then dropped off to CASA by our teams.
AVE Florham Park hosted a festive Holiday Spirit of Giving Reception complete with food, drinks, entertainment, and raffle giveaways. Donations benefited Move For Hunger and CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties, with each contribution earning guests a raffle ticket to win exciting prizes.
AVE Phoenix Sky welcomed its residents, as well as residents from AVE Phoenix Terra and AVE Paradise Valley to a celebration featuring a live DJ, photobooth, wood-fired pizza station, and themed cocktails. Guests were encouraged to dress in holiday cocktail attire while donating food or toys to support Move For Hunger and Phoenix Children’s Hospital, further extending AVE’s reach into the local community.
The AVE Phoenix team donated a combined total of 137 bags of food for Move For Hunger, in addition to the toys they delivered to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
This year marked an exciting milestone: the first-ever Holiday Spirit of Giving event at AVE Hamilton Green. The Holiday Spirit of Giving Blizzard Bash transformed 5 Cottage Speakeasy and Lounge into a winter-inspired celebration, with residents donning white and blue attire while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails. Donations supported Move For Hunger and Blythedale Children’s Hospital.
