“Our teams interact with our residents and their pets every day, so we understand firsthand the joy and companionship they bring to their lives,” says Lea Anne Welsh, COO of Korman Communities; President of AVE. “We are committed to creating a pet-friendly environment for all our residents, while continuously seeking ways to support community causes our residents and teams care about.”
Each AVE team collected donations such as beds, toys, food, blankets, and more to support a local shelter of their choice. In total, the teams donated 68 boxes of these much-needed items. Additionally, AVE donated $50 to the chosen shelter for every new pet move-in during May.
Blue Bell Villas in Blue Bell, PA supported Home at Last Dog Rescue where donations are utilized to provide services and supplies for rescued dogs including vaccines, routine pet visits, leashes, collars, and even major surgeries.
