Meet Jacqueline Copeland, General Manager

Jacqueline is responsible for the daily operations and sales of her property. Her main focus is to provide exceptional service to residents, support her team, and drive sales. Jacqueline strives to create a positive and rewarding environment where her entire team can enjoy coming to work every day.
Update: Jacqueline was promoted to Regional Operations Director in 2024.
Q: What is your hometown?
A: Broomall, PA.
Q: How long have you been with AVE?
A: 3.5 years in various roles – I began in Guest Services, transitioned to Assistant Manager, and now I’m in a General Manager role.
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
A: I don’t think I would ever call my workday typical. One of the things that I love most about my job is that it changes every day! From meeting residents, to managing a wonderful team, to handling the financials and sales, there is always something different on my path.
Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
A: My favorite part of working for AVE is the entrepreneurial environment – the company gives me the support and tools to run a successful business every day.

Q: What is your favorite AVE amenity or service?
A: I love our resident events! It’s really nice to see all of our residents come together and get to know each other. It gives everyone a feel for our community and the AVE family that we have created.
Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
A: “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” – Oscar Wilde.
I love this quote because I think it is very important to always stay true to yourself.
Q: What is your favorite spot in Philadelphia and why?
A: My favorite spot in Philadelphia would have to be in South Philly where our stadiums are located. I am a big fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles and Flyers! I grew up going to games and cheering on our teams with my family. It is very exciting coming together with our city to support the same aspiration, which is winning!
Q: What’s something interesting about you that we might not know?
A: I love to sing karaoke, and I have a terrible voice!
