The youngest of their three sons had moved out, leaving just the Montgomery County couple, along with their sociable, 14-year-old, dachshund Dexter, to maintain a 4,400-square foot home and an acre of land. “I had been scheduled for a right hip replacement the day before Thanksgiving, and knowing that I’d be on my own for physical therapy during the pandemic, we knew it was time to downsize and live more carefree,” Kim shares.
Now determined to break free, they visited several condo and apartment communities in Conshohocken, Plymouth Meeting, and King of Prussia, but after touring AVE Blue Bell with Regional Leasing Manager Lauren Brauer, they were sold. “AVE Blue Bell was just finishing up construction, and we scheduled an appointment with Lauren to see the model apartment,” says Kim. “Our initial reaction was that it was a vacation resort.”
The Quinns moved into their first-floor apartment with 10’ ceilings, abundant windows, and an open concept layout on September 15, 2020.
