Patch reports that luxury apartment living is coming to Horsham Township, where construction has begun on a new AVE community from Korman Communities. The township approved the project in 2022. Work is now underway on Dresher Road, starting with clearing a former office building to make way for the new residences. Move-ins are expected in 2028.
The community will also bring improvements to the surrounding neighborhood. According to township officials, the project includes new sidewalks along Dresher Road from Walnut Grove Drive to 748 Dresher Road. It also includes a modernized traffic signal at the intersection of Witmer Road and Prudential Road, which will make getting around easier for residents and neighbors alike.
Horsham Township officials welcomed the arrival of AVE. They noted that Horsham will join a national portfolio of strategically located AVE communities, including Silicon Valley; Austin, Texas; the Riverwalk in Tampa; and the Philadelphia Navy Yard. AVE brings its signature hospitality-driven service and its Live Better® philosophy to each of these communities.
The new community supports Horsham Township’s broader vision for its office park. Township officials shared that the plan aims to sustain the office park, keep current employers, attract new companies, and create living-wage jobs. Luxury apartment residences close to work give professionals the opportunity to live near where they work in Montgomery County.
