Sustainability Pledge
AVE is committed to developing and operating first-class properties that deliver healthy and sustainable living for our residents while continuously seeking opportunities to minimize our environmental impact. We partner with suppliers who share these values and help us get better every day.
Energy Efficiency
We believe in being good corporate citizens by doing our part to ensure reliable and sustainable energy for all. Our Asset and IT leadership meets regularly with partners like ChargePoint, Honeywell, and Lutron to explore innovative business models to drive energy efficiency across future and existing developments.
Most recent, we partnered with Honeywell to install the T10 Pro Smart Thermostat and smart app platform across our communities — reducing energy usage automatically, giving residents mobile control, and helping our team monitor heating and cooling efficiency.
Sustainable Living at AVE Navy Yard
Recently named the largest LEED Neighborhood Development (ND) in the United States, achieving LEED-ND Gold Certification, the Philadelphia Navy Yard’s vibrant live-work-play community features 20 acres of green space across five parks and six miles of waterfront.
Corporate Social Responsibility
As a brand, we have partnered with organizations like Move For Hunger, Habitat for Humanity, and Standard Textile to develop landfill avoidance programs that seamlessly integrate with our daily operations.
