We're seeking a Marketing Coordinator to serve as a central hub for our marketing activities - owning everything from property marketing strategy alignment to digital campaign execution across our growing portfolio of luxury residential communities.

This is an entry-level, high-impact role on our collaborative Marketing & Communications team where you'll coordinate across property teams, leadership, and third-party providers to ensure our marketing plans are executed flawlessly and on-time. You'll gain exposure to all facets of our marketing operations, from digital storefront optimization to campaign performance tracking and strategy execution - all while championing our strong brand.

The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the VP, Revenue & Data Strategy with accountabilities to the SVP, Brand Communications and Sr. Director, Furnished Marketing.

This position will be based 100% on-site at one of our residential locations in New Jersey or the Greater Philadelphia Area, with travel to other AVE locations nationwide approximately 10% of the time.

Responsibilities:

Property Marketing

  • Attend all Property Strategy Marketing Calls, take meeting notes, and prepare and distribute recaps with action items to all stakeholders to ensure timely alignment and communication
  • Submit Marketing Tickets for all meeting action items, audit tickets and deadlines on recurring basis to track deliverables, and own communication and follow-up with leadership and production to ensure timely closure on marketing activities
  • Maintain up-to-date Marketing and Sales plans for individual properties and regions
  • Support with marketing initiatives, as needed per property, including but not limited to direct mail fulfillment and outreach, preferred employer, and referral initiatives

Digital Marketing

  • Own execution of marketing campaign updates on digital storefronts including but not limited to marketing websites (AVELIVING.COM), online directories such as Google Business Profile, and internet listing sites such as Apartments.com
  • Drive the success of furnished e-commerce initiatives by submitting and tracking closure of Sales Support tickets to create rate codes and making content updates to the booking engine and its distribution channels per the Marketing & Sales plans
  • Project manage content updates to ILS platforms to ensure alignment with campaigns and Marketing & Sales plans
  • Own content implementation of Neighborhood Guides on Property Websites
  • Project manage virtual leasing content with property teams and third-party providers such as Box Brownie and Show My Property to ensure timely delivery of digital leasing tools
  • Own creation and integrity of UTMs to support campaign performance tracking to ensure accurate performance tracking
  • Serve as back-up to Email Marketing & CRM Manager to deliver email marketing campaigns
  • Be trained on CMS and serve as back-up to Web Director in all content implementation
  • Be trained on Marketing Portal and serve as back-up to Marketing Operations Manager in ticket assignment

Other

  • Own and execute all responsibilities within brand standards
  • Always represent Brand Marketing & Communications team with high level of professionalism
  • Scope of responsibilities subject to change, and or expand, based on expansion of our portfolio

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2 years of marketing or communications experience, ideally within real estate, multifamily housing, or hospitality industries
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communicator - written and oral, able to collaborate with brand and property roles across the organization
  • Natural problem solver and self-start who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Tech savvy and quick to learn digital systems
  • Ability to receive and integrate feedback in a positive way
  • Strong curiosity and creativeness
  • Effective project management, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) and collaboration platforms
  • Experience with email and data marketing platforms such as Sell Zendesk CRM, Yardi/RentCafe CRM, Zoho CRM, Brevo, BeePro is preferred, but not required
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills; experience using reporting tools to track and optimize marketing performance

Compensation

  • $50,000-$55,000/year

Individual compensation decisions will vary as the annual base compensation range provided is approximate and determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. AVE also offers additional bonus potential paid out on a monthly and/or quarterly basis (dependent upon the position), which is not included in the base compensation range listed above.
