Resident Lifestyle & Events Manager

AVE is seeking a seasoned event coordinator for our brand-new luxury communities in White Plains, New York! The Resident Lifestyle & Events Manager will take ownership of all resident events from start to finish and plan and execute a variety of unique and fun events. They will also manage all amenity spaces and be responsible for crafting a full sensory experience for our residents and guests. Responsibilities

  • Own all resident and other events at the community from start to finish, including designing, purchasing, promotional materials, set-up, and tear down
  • Plan and execute unique, creative, and fun events at your communities that help to create an elevated resident lifestyle on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Examples of these events include but are not limited to movie nights, fitness classes, cooking demonstrations, happy hours, tailgates, spa & beauty days, pop up shops and other event opportunities for local businesses to display and offer their products, services and cuisine to residents
  • Collaborate with KSA, Business Development team, and Leasing team and assist with planning, catering, and executing all client/prospect tours, realtor events, and other Sales and/or Marketing related events
  • Take full ownership of all amenity spaces at the communities and activate those spaces to create a full sensory experience for the residents including music, scent, and activities
  • Ensure all amenity spaces exude a welcoming and exciting energy for all residents and guests throughout the entire day
  • Regularly walk and inspect each amenity space at the start of each day as well as throughout the day to ensure these spaces are clean, tidy, and everything is in working order
  • Activate the promenade for residents and the business community
  • Provide support to the onsite team wherever needed including front desk coverage to enhance the overall resident experience
  • Execute special requests to provide an unparalleled resident experience (i.e. deliver mail, water plants, deliver groceries, etc.)
  • Build partnerships with community businesses and organizations that can be a resource and offer additional services to our residents
  • Continuously research new vendors and companies to partner with and utilize for resident events
  • Create, post, distribute and promote the full monthly calendar of events for each community
  • Work with the Brand Marketing team to ensure that we are effectively communicating and promoting community events on all levels
  • Assist with internal team member events

Must be available to work the required full-time schedule of Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm with complete schedule flexibility for events that may take place before or after business hours or on weekends.

Requirements 

  • 3 to 5 years of event planning and coordination experience
  • Hospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, or multifamily industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Creativity and an eye for detail
  • Schedule flexibility in order to manage a variety of events 

Compensation

  • $75,000-$90,000/year

Individual compensation decisions will vary as the annual base compensation range provided is approximate and determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. AVE also offers additional bonus potential paid out on a monthly and/or quarterly basis (dependent upon the position), which is not included in the base compensation range listed above.
