THE FRANKLIN RESIDENCES, CENTER CITY, PHILADELPHIA

The Franklin Residences is an iconic, high-rise in Center City, Philadelphia with a rich history. In addition to our flexible-stay furnished suites and luxury apartments, it is home to locations of Sandler’s on 9th, Body + Beauty Lab, Di Bruno Bros., Passero’s Coffee Roasters, and the famous Ballroom at the Ben. As Property Relations Coordinator, Tanya is the dedicated point-of-contact for these on-site partners, facilitating communication, marketing, and events between the partners, on-site team, and residents. Her eclectic role supports all aspects of the property management including operations, sales, and marketing.

Q: What is your hometown?
A: Philly

Q: How long have you been with The Franklin Residences?
A: A year and a half

Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
A: Every day, I create the weekly/weekend housekeeping schedules and check lists for both our residential and commercial teams. I also interact with our residents and commercial partners and assist in planning quarterly and monthly events for them. I help manage the apartment renewal process and communicate with residents on the satisfaction of their living experience and lease terms. From a commercial perspective, I am the on-site point of contact for all of The Franklin’s commercial offices and engage daily with commercial tenants regarding any property updates and announcements as well as any questions, concerns, and inquiries they may have. Additionally, I work closely with our General Manager Emily and the on-site team on furniture upgrades and renovations, promotional items and amenities, department budgets and meetings, and social media engagement for The Franklin through our Facebook and Instagram channels.

Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
A: I’m a people person, and I love that I’m able to interact with the on-site team, residents, and commercial partners on a daily basis. It brings me such happiness when a resident/commercial partner tells me how much they truly enjoy staying at our property and that we always go above and beyond to accommodate them. My goal is to make everyone a raving fan of the Franklin Residences!

Q: What is your favorite amenity or service at The Franklin Residences and why?
A: Being a Philadelphia native, I love everything about The Franklin and its rich history, but I must say our beautiful lobby is my favorite. It was designed by prominent American architect Horace Trumbauer, who also designed the Philly Museum of Art, and it’s just breathtaking!

Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
A: My all-time favorite quote is by Diane Keaton – one of my favorite actresses, too!
“I’ve always loved independent women, outspoken women, eccentric women, funny women, flawed women. When someone says about a woman, ‘I’m sorry, that’s just wrong,’ I tend to think she must be doing something right.” To me, it’s a reminder to women that we are strong and can do anything we set our minds to despite social norms. It inspires me to never doubt who I am and to always be my true self.

Q: What is your favorite spot in Philly and why?
A: I am a huge foodie and enjoy going out to eat and trying new restaurants in the city! Steakhouses like Del Frisco’s and Ocean Prime are a few of my favorites to name, and I also can’t resist an authentic Philly cheese steak every now and then from Steve’s Steaks or Dalessandro’s.

Q: What’s something interesting about you that we might not know?
A: I have quite the diverse background. I am of Filipino, Italian, Irish, and Greek ethnicities.
