What brings me the greatest satisfaction in my role is knowing I’m helping people feel at home, even when they’re far from it. Whether it’s a smooth relocation, a comfortable stay during a big life transition, or simply taking the stress out of travel — being part of that positivity means everything to me.
As Senior Business Development Manager at
AVE King of Prussia, I am responsible for driving sales results for our
furnished apartment service across AVE's Greater Philadelphia portfolio, helping individuals and companies find flexible housing.
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
For me, no two days are the same and that’s what I love about it. My day usually starts with checking emails and responding to client inquiries looking for the perfect home-away-from-home. Next, I dive into outreach by following up with leads, connecting with potential partners, and building relationships that go beyond the transaction. I also get to tailor furnished housing solutions to meet each client's specific needs, whether it’s for a short-term assignment, a relocation, or an extended stay. By the end of the day, I’ve likely helped someone land exactly where they need to be at one of our AVE locations — and that’s incredibly rewarding.
Q: How long have you been working in this industry?
27 years
Q: What do you love most about being a part of the AVE team?
What I love most is the energy and the people. We work hard, but we laugh even harder, and every day brings something new — whether it’s a fresh challenge or a good story worth sharing. It feels less like a job and more like being part of something special.
Q: What is your favorite amenity or service that AVE provides and why?
The complimentary freshly brewed, bean-to-cup coffee machine is my favorite amenity. The cappuccino and lattes are my favorite.
Q: What is your hometown?
Wichita Falls, Texas
Q: What is your favorite hobby and why?
My favorite hobby is walking my dog Seth with my husband on our one-mile evening walk. It gives me time to relax with the ones I love away from computers, televisions, and cell phones.
Q: What is your favorite spot in the Greater Philadelphia area and why?
Valley Forge National Park. The park’s winding roads, along with its woods and meadows, offer a scenic break from traffic lights and concrete. It’s more than a commute, it’s a moment to reflect and reconnect with nature and history before diving into the day.
Q: What are 3 fun facts about you that we might not know?
- I was a radio DJ in Texas.
- I am vegetarian.
- I love the weather. Ask me about the weather, and most likely I will know the exact time it will rain, shine, or bring a massive cold blizzard.
