MEET REMI SCULLIN, LEASING MANAGER AT AVE MALVERN

"What brings me the greatest satisfaction in my role is being a reliable resource for new and potential residents. Searching for a home and the moving process that follows can be stressful, so my goal is to make everything as easy and smooth as possible. I strive to provide clear, consistent communication throughout the leasing process, ultimately helping create a stress-free and seamless move-in experience."

As Leasing Manager at AVE Malvern, I oversee the leasing process for our luxury apartments, from touring to securing leases and finalizing move-ins. I build brand awareness through community outreach and stay informed on market trends to support our on-site marketing initiatives. I also plan and execute monthly resident events that bring our community together. 

Q: What is a typical workday like for you? 
My day begins with walking our amenity spaces and model apartments to make sure everything is tour ready. Each morning, our team meets to review arrivals, community updates, and anything else we need to be aligned on for the day. From there, I connect with incoming prospects to guide them through the touring and application process. I also work closely with new residents to ensure they have a smooth and stress-free move-in experience. Once I’ve connected with our future residents, I support the team by assisting with day-to-day operations throughout the community. 

Q: How long have you been working in this industry? 
I started with AVE in May 2024. Although I did not have prior community management experience, I came to AVE with a strong background in hospitality.

Q: What do you love most about being a part of the AVE team? 
My favorite part of being on the AVE team is the people I get to work with every day. Our Malvern team works hard to support each other and our residents while still having fun. I also love connecting with team members from other AVE communities, as I know I can always count on them. The sense of teamwork and camaraderie across AVE is truly special.

Q: What is your favorite amenity or service that AVE provides and why?
I love planning and attending our monthly resident events. These gatherings are not only fun, but they also provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with our residents on a more personal level. The community we have here at AVE Malvern is remarkable, and our resident events play a big role in fostering those relationships.

Q: What is your hometown? 
Malvern, PA 

Q: What is your favorite hobby and why? 
I love to cook! I enjoy trying new recipes and cooking techniques. One of my favorite dishes to cook is penne vodka with chicken cutlets.

Q: What is your favorite spot in the suburban Philadelphia area and why? 
I love West Chester, PA, which is just a short drive from Malvern. Grabbing a coffee and walking around downtown is always fun, especially when it’s decorated for the holidays. There are endless restaurants to explore, and two of my favorites are Limoncello and Teca! 

Q: What are 3 fun facts about you that we might not know? 

1. I love iced coffee! My current favorite is an iced maple latte. 
2. In my free time, I am one of the Assistant Coaches for the West Chester University Cheerleading team! 
3. My favorite vacation spot is Stone Harbor, NJ.
