As General Manager of AVE Union, Lyndsey is responsible for the overall sales and operations of the state-of-the-art residential community. Every day, she brainstorms creative strategies to drive traffic and ensure resident satisfaction. She leads her team to execute at the highest level – meeting sales goals, maintaining the asset, and most important, delivering high-touch service to all residents and clients.

Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
Every day is an adventure at AVE Union! Typically, I meet with the team in the morning to discuss the previous and current days and what’s to come in the future. We brainstorm ways to generate new traffic, and how we can keep our current residents happy to be living at AVE Union. I walk the sales path daily to ensure the presentation of the property is always first class. I review our financial statement, verifying costs and budgets and evaluating our upgrade program as Union has been lucky enough to upgrade both our furnished and unfurnished apartments recently, and we’re currently re-imagining our amenity spaces.

Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
Watching the whole team come together to make the residents happy.

Q: What is your favorite AVE amenity or service?
Complimentary Starbucks coffee. You can never, ever have enough coffee. Ever.

Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
“If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?” I love this quote because it is so true and so often forgotten.

Q: AVE Union is right on the train line, making it easy to get into Manhattan. What is your favorite spot in New York City and why?
Any theatre where I can see a Broadway show. I LOVE musicals!

Q: What’s something interesting about you that we might not know?
I went on an African Safari. Coolest trip ever!
