As Recruiting & HR Coordinator, Ellie supports the recruiting and onboarding programs for AVE and Korman Communities including facilitating interviews with prospective team members, compiling offer letters, and executing new hire set-up and onboarding schedules.

Two and a 1/2 years
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
There is no typical workday in the role. Our company is growing, so I’m often pivoting between priorities throughout the day. It’s such an exciting time!
Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
I love seeing new team members being successful in their new role — knowing I played a part in their hiring process, which in turn, propels the company’s growth, is really rewarding.
Q: What is your favorite AVE amenity or service?
Our resort-style pools — I love to swim, and our pool courtyards are simply beautiful and inspiring spaces.
Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
“Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.” As long as you try and give it your hardest, even if the results aren’t what you planned, you still accomplished something.
Q: What is your favorite spot in Philly and why?
My favorite spot in the Philly Area is the Pinnacle, an overlook point on the Appalachian Trail, about an hour and 1/2 drive outside the city. I’m an avid hiker and the view from the Pinnacle is spectacular.
Q: What’s something interesting about you that we might not know?
I’m a certified yoga teacher!
