When Beau Casey and his husband Jon found out they’d be relocating from San Diego to the Philadelphia Area for Jon’s work in Collegeville, they immediately started looking online for an apartment to call home.
Beau and his mother-in-law shopped a few apartment communities in the Philadelphia Suburbs one Saturday, but after his tour with Lauren Brauer, Leasing Manager at AVE King of Prussia, the search came to a screeching halt. “The team was so welcoming. They really showed genuine care for Jon and I and our dogs. I got that warm, fuzzy feeling,” Beau says, of his tour experience. “Not to mention, the property was meticulous, and they had every amenity imaginable right there on site.”
Beau and Jon moved in on July 15, 2018, and they quickly became active members of the community, attending the weekly Resident Events including seasonal socials, movie nights, and Yappy Hours coordinated by Resident Lifestyle Manager Emily Brennan. Beau was regularly spotted poolside with neighbors or in the business center planning his new business RE:FORM Pilates & Chiropractic, which launched in Exton in October. Beau made sure to stop by the Resident Services desk to say “hello” to the team every day en route to walk his three rescue chihuahua mixes Pirouette, Joy, and Pepe, who were always eager to see the team…and the dog treats they keep behind the desk.
“In the span of a year, AVE became our home. The team treats us with respect and kindness. It’s simply consistent stellar service, and it’s authentic and genuine,” Beau says. “We got a family, too. Our neighbors have become great friends. Everyone enjoys one another’s company. It’s truly a community.”
Since Beau had such a genuine passion for his new apartment community, he embraced the AVEocate program to its fullest – a Resident Referral Program that provides a rental credit for referrals. Beau, a self-described AVE Ambassador, took to social media and regularly showcased his carefree lifestyle at AVE King of Prussia so others moving to or living in the area also could enjoy his lifestyle.
“Working in the amenity spaces every day, I was right there when the AVE team was giving tours and naturally, prospective renters would ask me what my experience has been. It was great to be able to share my thoughts and then rewarding that, on some level, that interaction made a difference,” Beau says. “So when I found out about the referral program, it was a ‘no-brainer’ for me. I am passionate about marketing, social media, and AVE King of Prussia, so I combined the three. The rental credit was a bonus.”
