As Maintenance Manager for AVE Union, Pablo is responsible for the maintaining our state-of-the-art residential community in Union County, New Jersey at the highest level – this includes overseeing preventative maintenance, vendor partners, supply management, resident requests, and any renovation programs. Pablo started with AVE 8 years ago as a Maintenance Technician. His work ethic and can-do attitude has provided positive leadership to his team and colleagues in the region.

Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
Following up with my team on their daily schedules, performing inventory audits and supply orders, as needed, meeting with vendors to schedule property projects.

Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
Seeing our residents smile after we complete a request. It gives me a great sense of pride knowing that we are exceeding our resident expectations daily.

Q: What is your favorite AVE amenity or service?
The fitness centers, I love the space and quality and variety of equipment.

Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
“Hard work and Dedication” – I believe these are the two things that are key to accomplishing any goal.

Q: What is your favorite spot in New Jersey and why?
Pier C Park in Hoboken is my favorite spot. It is a beautiful park for outdoor activities with a great view of NYC.

Q: What’s something interesting about you that we might not know?
I play on a flag football and softball league on the weekends, and I’m currently working on getting my boating license.
