While we appreciate all four seasons here in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, we’re a little partial to summer at AVE. Our resort pools are open, our BBQ stations are bustling, and our landscapes are in full bloom.
This summer, our residents enjoyed the warmer weather to the fullest with a host of new programs and amenities, many focused on health and wellness.
In April, we launched our new Bike Share amenity. All AVE residents can now borrow folding, hybrid Citizen Bikes for fitness or leisure from Memorial Day through October.
Also new this year, AVE Somerset started offering complimentary tennis instruction on Saturday mornings at its court. AVE Union kicked off two new complimentary summer fitness offerings, both with its glistening pool as a backdrop: an hour-long fitness boot camp led by Tim Foster of Fostering Fitness on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and an hour-long mixed-level yoga class led by yoga instructor Tara Bogota. Clifton also had new wellness offerings, a 1-hour yogalates class on Thursday evenings and hour-long fitness classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
There’s no doubt our resort pools are the center of all activity in the summer. We kicked off the season on Memorial Day Weekend with beach-themed Resident Receptions at all communities. Malvern residents enjoyed boardwalk treats like funnel cake and cotton candy while Somerset residents were serenated by a live steel drum band.
This year, Union launched a poolside delivery amenity, so residents could enjoy a curated summer lunch menu courtesy of Suspenders Restaurant & Pubwithout leaving the sundeck. In June, Clifton residents received a live fashion show and light fare poolside with summer styles courtesy of partner Femmebot Clothing with hair and makeup by partner Moxie Blow Dry and Beauty Bar.
Back by popular demand was our Movies Under the Stars series where residents view a new summer release on the big screen at dusk on our pool decks with assorted movie refreshments.
