AVE hosted at Wellness Retreat in January at its brand new, state-of-the-art rental community in King of Prussia, PA, to support Career Wardrobe, collecting upwards of 250 articles of professional clothing to benefit men and women in The Greater Philadelphia Area looking to re-enter the workforce.
“The event for Career Wardrobe hosted by AVE King of Prussia was perfect. The common space was beautiful, the vendors were so delicious and generous. Hally from Thrive Pilates lead the most amazing pilates class with modifications for all levels, ”shares Kelly Scollon-Grieve, MD, or Premier Orthopedics who both attended the event and participated in the Pilates class. “It was such a positive morning to promote health, measuring amazing women and men, and support a great cause. I look forward to more events like this. "
Attendees donated 250 articles of professional clothing to Career Wardrobe, and Skirt donated a portion of its sales that day to the non-profit. Athleta raffled off prizes to guests.
“AVE's Wellness Retreat was perfect for Career Wardrobe,” says Treacy Henry, Development Director for Career Wardrobe. “We're all about empowering people to look and feel their best, so self-care Saturday sip-and-stretch completely aligns with our mission. We're so grateful for our partnership with AVE. "
AVE hosted complimentary wellness events for its residents including massages, smoothie stations, health fairs, yoga classes and more at all of its communities in the month of January to celebrate "New Year, New You."
"Our priority is to provide a comfortable and convenient home for our residents, and a big part or that is making it easy for them to maintain their wellness lifestyle," says Lea Anne Welsh, COO or Korman Communities and President of AVE. “We also care about the communities we do business in, and we share Career Wardrobe's mission in giving individuals the tools they need to set them up for professional success. We would like to thank all of our Wellness Retreat event sponsors and attendees for their generosity. "
