Q: What is your hometown?
I was born and raised in Philadelphia!
Q: How long have you been with AVE?
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
A typical workday is greeting our residents, answering any questions they may have about their apartment or the neighborhood, walking the building to ensure it’s ready for any tours, and helping out with packages. We get a lot of packages in our building — there are multiple deliveries throughout the day. When we have new residents check-in, I enjoy reviewing the Welcome Packet with them and then giving them a tour of the building, while walking them to their new apartment.
Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
The residents often look to me for information about the building, their apartment, and the neighborhood before they move in. I get great satisfaction when I can provide them with solutions or answers to fully prepare them for their move or stay with us. I also like telling them about all the building amenities. They get so excited when they find out all their new home has to offer!
Q: What is your favorite AVE amenity or service?
Same-day dry cleaning. It’s so convenient that our residents can just drop off their dry cleaning in the morning on their way out the door and pick it up after work on their way up to their apartment.
Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
My favorite quote is from well-known, former resident of Philadelphia: “Early to bed, early to rise. Makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” –Ben Franklin
Q: What is your favorite spot in Philly and why?
Talula’s Garden, it’s cute, whimsical, and has great food.
Q: What’s something interesting about you that we might not know?
I grew up playing soccer and am actually pretty good at it!
