To celebrate the holidays, AVE’s Key Strategic Accounts team invited some clients to Classic Thyme Cooking School in Westfield, NJ for an interactive evening of good food and great company.
In small groups, AVE team members and their guests worked together at various stations to prepare a family-style Italian meal. While all the directions were spelled out, an instructor was available to assist, as needed.
Bonnie Sicora, AVE’s director of client services, was pleasantly surprised with how relaxed it was in the kitchen. “We were all laughing, taking pictures, and just having fun with it,” she says. “It was all very casual.”
After class, they enjoyed the fruits of their labor, dining together to the backdrop of Italian music.
“The evening was the perfect way to thank some of our clients for their business in 2015,” says Kim Schimenek, Senior VP of Key Strategic Accounts for Korman Communities. “It became a team-building exercise of sorts. We got to know one another even better as we worked together to prepare a delicious meal. Then we toasted our accomplishment and dined together!”
