AVE is Awarded a Gold MarCom Award by Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals

AVE was honored for its bike share amenity and its marketing launch by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals with a Gold MarCom Award in 2014.

The MarCom Awards competition recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communications professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

This year, there were more than 6,500 entries throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. Winners ranged from individual communicators to media conglomerates to Fortune 500 companies.

Winners were selected from more than 200 categories in seven forms of media communications efforts including marketing, public relations, promotion, public service, creativity, and electronic interactive. Twenty-three percent of entrants won Gold Awards.

“At AVE, we specialize in flexible furnished accommodations that offer a carefree lifestyle for the business traveler or anyone needing a temporary home for 30 days or longer,” says Lea Anne Welsh, president of AVE.

The team noticed a new trend among business professionals where biking has become a popular networking activity. “We know traveling for business for extended periods can be tough, especially when you are away from friends and family. That is why our teams go above and beyond to create a sense of community and host monthly events so our residents can network and get to know their neighbors,” Welsh says. “We thought having a bike share program would be another business and social opportunity for our residents.”

AVE also places a priority on ensuring its residents’ can continue their health and wellness lifestyles, even when they are away from home. “Our furnished suites feature fully equipped kitchens so our residents can cook healthy meals right in their suite. We also have 24-hour, comprehensive fitness centers and health and wellness classes at our communities,” Welsh says. “The bike share program gives residents another way to maintain a healthy lifestyle whether they hit a nearby fitness trail or bike to work.”

The AVE Bike Share amenity is offered seasonally and will re-launch in April!
