As Reservation Coordinator for our Key Strategic Account team, Danielle works with our Relocation Management Company and Corporate Housing partners every day to seamlessly place their clients and employees in our flexible-stay fully furnished suites when they relocate to one of our markets for work.
She acts as a single-point-of-contact for AVE’s entire portfolio of communities in the Greater Philadelphia Area, Northern/Central New Jersey, and the East Bay Area of San Francisco. Danielle also works directly with the on-site teams to ensure everything is ready for their check-in – from a meticulous, fully equipped suite to any special requests upon arrival like grocery delivery.
This month, we are honoring our Service Superstars, and we wanted to highlight Danielle, so our clients and team could get to know her better.
Q: What is your hometown?
A: North Haledon, New Jersey
Q: How long have you been with AVE?
A: 2 years in May
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
A: Our clients are our relocation and corporate housing partners. When they have transferees who need temporary housing, they reach out to me to see what we have available near their preferred location. We guarantee a response within two hours, so our clients get the information they need in a timely manner. Then, I work with our clients to gather the material needed for the reservation and send to our teams on-site to execute.
Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
A: Ensuring guests have a smooth transition while they are moving. Our motto is, ‘The answer’s yes, now what’s the question?’ I love knowing that I did a little something to help during a transitional time that can be very stressful.
Q: What is your favorite AVE amenity or service and why?
A: My favorite service is our AVE Platinum program – it’s the perfect upgrade for VIP guests to our already exceptional service. Our partners can really wow their high-level execs by offering priority booking, a reserved VIP parking spot, a gourmet grocery starter pack, an upgraded furniture package, and other indulgences.
Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
A: ‘Today is a good day for a good day.’ I have that quote hanging on the front door of my apartment, so I see it every morning when I’ve leaving. It reminds me that my attitude determines how my day will be, and most important, to make today count!
Q: What's something interesting about you that you clients don't know.
A: One of my hobbies (other than binging Netflix) is cycling. When the weather is nice, I love to go for a ride in beautiful Northern New Jersey and over into New York. Last March, I rode 100 miles in Orlando, Florida for Tour de Cure, a fund-raiser for the American Diabetes Association. I rode with my Aunt, who has diabetes, and it was so amazing to be a part of such a great cause.
Q: What makes AVE unique for guests looking for a home away from home?
A: Our flexibility and service-orientation. We understand that even the best-laid plans change, and that’s why we offer month-to-month leasing and a very short notice-to-vacate term. Additionally, our teams go above and beyond to make our short-term and long-term guests feel welcome with monthly resident events that bring everyone together. Some of my favorite past events have been Movies Under the Stars, AVE Comedy Night, and Halloween Costume Parties.
