The MarCom Awards competition recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communications professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
This year, there were more than 6,500 entries throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. Winners ranged from individual communicators to media conglomerates to Fortune 500 companies.
Winners were selected from more than 200 categories in seven forms of media communications efforts including marketing, public relations, promotion, public service, creativity, and electronic interactive. Twenty-two percent of entrants won Gold Awards.
