AVE Social is Awarded a Gold MarCom

03.14.2014

AVE was honored for its microsite, AVE Social, by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals with a Gold MarCom Award in November 2013.

The MarCom Awards competition recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communications professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

This year, there were more than 6,500 entries throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. Winners ranged from individual communicators to media conglomerates to Fortune 500 companies.

Winners were selected from more than 200 categories in seven forms of media communications efforts including marketing, public relations, promotion, public service, creativity, and electronic interactive. Twenty-two percent of entrants won Gold Awards.

At AVE, we specialize in flexible furnished accommodations that offer a carefree lifestyle for the business traveler or anyone needing a temporary home for 30 days or longer.

“In order to ensure our resident’s transition is as seamless as possible, we have always prioritized providing a high level of Resident Services,” says Lea Anne Welsh, president of AVE. “We recognized the increased demand for and use of mobile technology and communication among business travelers, so in September 2012, we launched mircosite, AVE Social.”

“The goal was to create an online gathering place for all of our social networks and blogs, so that residents could have access to property information like complimentary fitness classes being offered at the community, new partnerships like our relationship with WallyPark, a valet parking facility serving Newark Liberty Airport, and contests on our social media channels,” says Ashley Cerasaro, AVE’s communications specialist.
